one or more spammers. probably all just from one judging by the subject and the common birthday used.

Spammers. We've been under attack for a while. I kill as many as I have time for. Most never get to the point of posting but the forum software has many other options for spammers to share their message outside of posting. I've submitted possible broad sweeping solutions to Sam. Please ignore the interruption.

To keep the forum free and open we will always have spammers joining; likely trolls as well and then some folks that just can not follow the rules. I prefer to keep it free and open and nuke spammer accounts as they are discovered rather than stifle the conversation. An influx of new members who in turn post questions is needed to keep the forum alive. It seems we've had lots of older members fall to the sidelines, methinks this is simply a nature of forum dynamics.

The take away message is ignore the spammers who have birthdays. If you get a spam PM or visitor message report it. Spammer posts do not make it through so that should not be an issue.
