Can't seem to find my one and only pic. Manage attachments -or- link in the message, just asks me to upload.

    Any suggestions

    Rod,

On the left hand side of your User CP, all the way down is a link "Attachments". Is it viewable in there?

      hi,

i think if you go to 'user cp' on the top wood bar and then click on 'attachments' down at the bottom of the left bar - you should see any pics you have previously uploaded.

Yes Sam, I can see it under CP, BUT...

I'm sorry if I'm dumb, but while I'm keying this, none of the attachment links give me anything but upload options.

At the time I posted the pic, I did upload it and it appeared under the "paperclip" icon above.

But what if I want to post an existing (uploaded) pic - like now

            hi rod,

i haven't been able to post a previously uploaded pic either. like you, i can easily insert inline images in a new post by uploading from my computer. but once it's loaded into the 'attachments' file here, i can't seem to find a way to use it again without actually uploading it again and then it's in the attachments twice.

i was in the chatroom tonight and another member found the same thing - maybe that's the way it's supposed to work on this new forum - i don't know. i figured that once sam has had a chance to get things normalized a bit and has some time to rest and relax, he might want to check this feature out. for now, if i need to reuse a pic, i'll just upload it again. so far i haven't had to do that.

Yeah, this is strange. Above I went to UserCP, Attachments and found an attachment I uploaded earlier. I displayed it, copied the properties (location URL),did an Insert image in the reply box and the image showed as it should.
But, when the changes were saved and the reply posted, it displays as above, not the image, as it did in Edit mode.

                      I hope this works

well, no I can't attach an image. I have it up-laoded, but what now?

Ahh, now I got it, the picture appears after you post, but not when you pre-view.

Just another image test. Need somewhere it park the cheese logo since it appears that I can't attach a pic directly to my signature...
