    FAQ

    Hi, those of you assigned to the long dormant FAQ Collaboration
    group please check the FAQ Collaboration forum
    for my BT3 FAQ.

    Let me know what you think.

    And how we should proceed from here. Maybe Sam can set up something special.

          Its in the FAQ Collaboration limited access forum that Sam set up over a year ago. But only about 10 members had access. Nothing's been posted for a while. Here's the direct link.

          The short history was, that I posted a list of frequently asked questions which is the basis for this. We were going to take turns at answering the questions with follow up comments from the collaboration members, then make the main reply with the added comments in a FAQ forum available to all. I think that didn't work because of the sequential nature of the thing, and because the forum was too hard to search.

          So I decided one night just to answer all the questins, seek feedback as to the validity of my answers, and then sort of become the keeper of the FAQ. With some help from Sam, we can make the FAQ an integral part of the forum. We keep seeing many of the same qeustions raised over and over in "getting started".

                                  A WikiWeb would be ideal for this.

                                  That way, users could add to, or clarify existing FAQs, and even propose new ones. The only maintenance necessary would be the moderator(s) approving edits and submissions.

                                  If anyone's interested, I can see what it would take to set one up.
