The top one needs the forum code IMG tags. The bottom works fine, and I see you figured out the new file upload MOD I am working on. It's still "beta" [:-)]

            My turn ...

... FYI - this file is 720 pixels wide. Looks like 400-500 may fit better and load faster.

This site keeps getting better and better. Thanks, Sam.

So if i read the uploader correctly I can only have a maximum of 25 picture files totalling 10 MB or less.

That could be heck on the archives...

And so how are files deleted?
                FIFO?

                I see no delete/file utilities.

                Here's a good question:
Can the server automatically resize/scale JPegs?
There's two good reasons to do this:
                1. if people insist on uploading files from their new 5MP camera, why not have the sever automatically scale it to a range from 320x240 to 640x480 based on the nearest binary scaleing (e.g. 1:2 or 1:4 or 1:8, keeps it simple). Wasteful from the standpoint of upload time but it keeps the photos uniform and saves server resources (space).
                2. When they approach their 10MB limit, start scaling the stored photos down so they are not lost, just reduced (instead of limiting to 25 pics. This will keep the archives from showing red X's (may be reduced to 60x40 pixel thumbnails, though!) At least the archives will have some meaning.

Another question: Why have fixed storage limits for everyone?
The guy with ten posts has 10MB same as the guy with 1000 posts.
Why not proportional to posts. Or perhaps, different limits for different "Title".

Not asking for too much, eh?

As stated, I'm still working out the details. All of the current settings are the defaults, and I haven't figured out how to change anything. Patience...
