    Brad:

(Like I'm an expert on posting pictures -- obviously NOT!!)

Replace the "quotation marks" in your link with [brackets]

But when I replaced the quotation marks in your link, all I get is the infamous red X ...

    EDIT ...
I just clicked on your link. It takes me to your web page. The [img] is not needed, unless you want to link to a specific picture in your site.

    like this ...

... which is the address of the photo bracket img bracket http://www.kcnet.com/~vrbradley/imag...g/MVC-001S.JPG bracket /img bracket.

I think what he is saying is that if you just want a link that you can click on and go to your site, you don't need to put any IMG tags on it you can just post a link like this

          http://www.kcnet.com/~vrbradley/miter_guage.htm

But if you want to display your actual picture in the post (like in Lonnies post ) then you need to wrap the link in (img) {/img) But instead if () you use []( I couldn't do that or it would show a red x )

There is really no need for the "img" that you used

Nice looking sled by the way
          Go Buckeyes!

              Brad,
Like Lonnie, I have no business giving advice with the picture posting business. BUT I [u]think</u> the trick is to #1 have a webplace to put your pictures on (which looks like you do) and #2 put those brackets [img ]link[ /img] with no spaces anywhere (I think) Here's what I did for the second picture to make it work. I went to your website where the pictures are, then right clicked on the picture, went down to properties, copied the URL, then pasted on this post and put the [img ] and [ /img] immediately before and after the copied URL. Maybe too much explaining, but that is how I did it. I would be interested to know the construction of the right side slot, etc.
              Good Luck!!
              Steve

EDIT; I hit post instead of preview, maybe you should not listen to me[8D]
Edit2; Okay..I had to put a space in the [img ] [ /img] &lt;-- like shown in my writing area or else it thinks I am trying to post a picture instead of showing an example and showed the awesome red X

The construction of the right side slot was my first attempt. I will take some measurements and pictures when i get a chance. I have another filler, my second attempt which i think works better, ill get a couple of shots of it too.

Sorry i took so long to answer. The last four pictures will not show on my web site...i cant figure out why(will keep working on that). If you can make out the pictures there are two table fillers. One is attached usinf 1/2 plywood and the other using 4x4 aluminum uprights i fabricated as brackets. I think the wood brackets are easier and look better too. I hope this helps, if I can help further please let me know.

hey vaughn, there's two main kinds of links (URLs', addresses, etc) we're dealing with here, one type links to web sites (HTML pages) and the other links to pictures.

picture have extensions like .gif and .jpg and you can use the
image tags img and /img surrounded by square brackets, before and after an image link address to make the image appear in line with your message.

pictures and html page addresses appearing by themselves are
identified by the message board with blue text underlined, and you can click on them and your browser will open the page or picture that way.
