    I give up...

Well, after two nerveracking days of trying to deal with my PATHETIC excuse for a web host technical support department, I have given up on converting the database.

This is dissapointing for me because I was really expecting for performance to increase with the upgrade. [V]

For now, we will continue to run on the extremely bloated MS Access database (currently 106mb and growing!) until I can find a reliable LOCAL web hosting service I can deal with. My current host has been quite good up until the time that I actually needed some support. Now that I need a little more for them, I can now see that they don't have the resources or the knowledge to support a site of the nature of BT3Central.com.

Thanks for your understanding, and I am sorry that the two days of downtime were for nothing. [V]

    Dissapointed and disgusted in Kentucky,

What do you need? I may have a source for technical assistance.

I need to be able to put my hands on their freaking server and set the appropriate database rights. I know WHAT to do, I just can't get them to do it. Thanks anyway...

Sam thanks for giving it a try. As I mentioned in the chat the other day if it comes down to it I can host the database for you on SQL server. It will be remotely hosted and I don't know if there will be any lag time (The server is on a DS3). Just let me know and I will hook you up.
