    Confused

    Sam,
For the past several days, I have noticed that when I log on, and progress on to another topic, I have to log on again time-after-time.
Any ideas what is going on?

Did you turn off cookies, change browsers, or install any sort of personal firewall on new virus software?

I don't have that problem, but I've noticed that threads I have read are intermittantly (yes, I know that's one of the worst attributes of faults ) appearing as unread (even when there have been no new posts or edits).

I've noticed the same problem albeit apparently not as frequently as it happens to Dave -- usually at least once, sometimes twice, perhaps three times per session. I've had this happen intermittently since joining the board.

Humm! Nothing changed from this morning (GMT) but I just had to logon anew! Same PC, home network, no changes to PC between times.

Interesting. The system kicked me out yet again but I left myself logged out while I browsed the board. I just noticed that the system still shows me logged in. Any idea if this is a clue to the problem I'm having (i.e. sporatic auto logouts) Sam?

No clue. I'll check around on the Snitz board for other forum owners having similar problems. You guys need to keep in mind that the reason I am movin my site is because of problems with my web host. These problems that I know are happening could very well cause the session errors you are having.

Please be patient and let's see if these problems disapear when we move into our new home...

That's happened to me a lot.
A few weeks agao I complained about not being able to
edit posts I'd left. Turned out that it was becasue I
started out being logged in but later lost my login.

Sometimes I'd start to leave a post then it when I clicked to post it it would asl me my logininfo. Worse than that, it would refuse to log me in, thus losing my post until I completely exited and then came back in.
