    Stars & Rankings are off...

I know it may upset many, but I feel it has to be done. I'm sure I'll lose visitors over this but I'm willing to do so. It has just gotten out of hand. Stars and rankings are gone.

        Sam,

I have been meaning to ask you, are you a programmer or is this just an interest of yours. You did a great job on the forum design by the way.

Sam, you put this thing together, and did one #### of a job in the process. This is your forum, and we will abide by whatever you decide is best for it. After all, the "stars" aren't why we came here anyway.
I, for one, support you whole-heartedly.
            Thanks,

                Cool with me!

(But for those who are still wondering, if you go to the forums links at the top of this page and click on "Members", you can see each members name and level - apprentice, all ten, etc... Obviously I have no ego interest in this with a measly dozen posts, just thought I would share)

I agree,we don't need the stars,we should all know by now that each and every one of us is the gleaming light on this forum. Our wit, friendliness and knowledge out shine any stars that we could have received.
                    Keep up the good work,Sam.

Sam, I was looking forward to my first star (got to 49), but if you think it best to stop it, then so be it! [8)]
After all, it's your site and your forum, and you're in a much better position to see what's going on than we are. [8D]

Since I've been in 3 times today before I noticed they were gone, it doesn't really matter. It's the folks and content that's important any way.
