Okay yeah I am having stupid fun with the title, but here goes...
The mini split AC has yet to be installed because, I need to clean the shop up and make room on the wall for it. Been working on it, but do recall the summers here in TX are somewhat brutal.
In order to at least make the space tolerable I have resorted to using a pair of fans.
A 20" floor model metal frame shop fan. And an 18" oscillating pedastal fan.
My Home Depot HDX floor fan died a miserable self induced death when the speed control module that was simply factory zip tied to the frame came un zip tied and tangled with the blade and let sparky do its thing before the breaker tripped. To the curb it went...
In its place I grabbed a Central Machinery (Harbor Freight) on sale so $49.99 when I got it, https://www.harborfreight.com/power-...fan-57880.html and to boot it shoves out 1200cfm more air than the HDX used to...Honestly if I had any brain cells I would rig this thing up as a ceiling mounted air mover but I digress... It shoves plenty of air although dust moving about the shop is a problem, but back to the matter at hand...

Between the 2 of these fans, and the insulation in my shop, temps are staying under 80 deg F with outside temps hovering just under 100 deg F... And there is a nice breeze. So it is allowing me to make headway...
