I am very impressed with your use of space. Honestly though, how do you like your benchtop jointer?? Amazon has the 25$ off coupon, and I have another 10$ off, and that'd put the delta benchtop at 165$, which is getting closer to something I could think about getting.

For edge jointer, I'm currently using my router table, but you can't face joint with it.

I like the craftsman bench top jointer just fine. Of course you have to remember that I don't have another point of reference to judge it against + I haven't jointed anything longer than 3 1/2 feet. It works great for that.

as said by most above. great use of space!
i do the exact same thing with "between-stud space" i also went and made 4-6" wid shelves between some with plywood(protrudes past studs) or other 2x4's,and a bunch of long brad nails, theyre great!
next thing will be some cabinets between them for finishes and lil stuff.

Since I have plenty of room in my 900 sqft shop, you need to send me that one oddball red aluminium bar clamp. It just throws your whole shop out-a-wack

Hey DonHo I bet you had to clean up that shop before you took those pictures. If I was to take a few of mine at this time you wouldn't believe it and its 16x24 but I'm known for my ability to loose any tool smaller than the table saw while I'm on a project. Any way it looks good.

Yep you're right, I did clean up the shop to make the pics. Actually, I set about putting most of the tools on mobile cabinets and the cabinets gave me enough storage space that by the time I had them all made the shop was pretty well organized. I did sweep and dust before the pictures though. I didn't want to be responsible for Rod Kirby having a stroke from all the sawdust
