    First tool mount complete

After a few prototypes, I finally got my bench tool mount to work the way I want it. Now that the first one is done, I have about half a dozen more for other bent mount tools.

I dispensed with the through holes and went for a couple of slots instead. No need to remove the knobs and a couple turns and the mount comes off and a couple turns to lock it down. It doesn't take a lot of pressure from the knobs to lock it down solidly and now I don't have to worry about trying to clamp bench tools to the bench.

        Looks good.

I've been contemplating how to do something similar when I finally get my shed-shop completed (like taking forever). My thinking was to somehow employ the bench holes on my HF woodworking table, but I had not given any thought to mounting via the front edge of the table top... Great idea!

I'll have to remember your idea, and I thank you for posting,
