Digital Tachometer for my HF Lathe

I'd seen these little digital tachometers with the hall effect sensors around, and decided I wanted to add one to my HF34706 lathe. Here's my video of the build. Thanks for watching!

Informative video, this might be the push I need to install a tach on my milling machine, maybe even a variable speed controler as well!
      Thanks

Thanks Richard and Cap. The build was pretty simple, and I may do another, except as a portable stand-alone and not as a built-in. I'd do this by leaving the 12v wall-wart intact, installing an on/off switch on the project box (and use a magnetic strip on the bottom instead of the double-stick tape), and putting a magnet on the little angle for the hall-effect sensor. That way, you can move the little neodymium magnet to any ferrous spinny tool and mag-mount the sensor and display box. I was impressed that the little magnet stayed on the handwheel up to my max speed of ~3000 rpm.
