I know i should wait a couple of weeks until i have it in order, but i think its more dramatic, lol, when you see the mess i had, (and some sawdust, i dont want to get harped on for not making any) now that im finally back on days, i will have more time to spend out there, ive got plans for 3 more electrical circuits, and about 10 more lights, i have all the stuff i just need to get around to it, and a ceiling wood rack as well,
Its about 12' x 32', with almost enough room, but i'm extremely lucky to have it
im going to get all the non shop related stuff out this week and start getting stuff against a wall, the bench is going in the cubby next to the heater and the jointer, planer and DC is going to take the place of the washer and dryer, this was all junk storage with no lights at all 6 months ago, i wish i had pics from then, i'll post an update after its all in order and how i want it, i cant wait
With some careful thought on arrangement, you can have a real nice shop there. Just be sure to leave as much room to the sides of the saw as possible. My current shop is 12' wide, but only 15' long so stuff is crammed in any where it can fit. Cutting sheet goods can get a bit interesting!
well, my wife and i spent most of sunday out in the garage, we managed to get the garage in order and the shop as much in order as i want it, for now, heres the after pics:
Looking Good! should make a nice little shop.
I did have one question, and I suspect you may have several months to think on it. Looks like your DC is sitting right in front of the heater, and may be close enough to scorch the bags?
You might want to move it closer to the saw & jointer, since they will generate most of the mess?
Sanity is just a one trick pony. Being a bit Crazy is a wide open field of opportunity!
the dust collector is definately not going to be ok for the winter months, lol, the final parking space will be where the white trash can and scrap bin are now, (next to the jointer) im going to have to keep that mobil, you guys dont miss a thing, lol, except if you look directly behind the guard on the saw, you can see boomers resting place under the table, he likes it there, and if he's happy, im happy,
