    Electric symbols for shop layout

Does anyone know of an on-line reference for the symbols used to indicate outlets, switches and the like on architectural plans?

I have a few things I need to have done by a professional and would like to communicate as well as I can.

    TIA,
    JR

        Perfect, Tom. Thanks.

I'm using the Grizzly layout tool. It provides a nice, if small, drawing of the layout. I figured I'd just hand draw the indicators for switches and outlets.

          JR,

How appropriate, that they use $ for switches.
