Wow, those are some pretty heavy duty drawers. Is that 3/4" stock and HW bottoms?

3/4 red or white oak with 5/8 red or white oak bottoms. These are going to be the drawers for the router table so when loaded they will have a lot of weight in them. Better safe than sorry!

I like those handles. Did you cut them on a bandsaw or is there another trick?

No joke those are some thick drawers!

Can't wait to see it finished.

On the handles, that looks like the work of an osicllating spindle sander, but I could be wrong...

Here is a picture that may give you a hint, after I try and explain the way I made the handles

The original pieces were scraps 3" wide. 1" thick and various lengths, minimum of 4".

I set the drill press with a 2 1/2 forstner bit to drill 3/4 inch deep. I drilled about 4 passes in each section.

After drilling, set the BT3K to cut the center out of each board. This removed the center dimple from the handles and set the depth of the handle.

After ripping to width I cut each handle to length 4"

With the router and a round over bit with a guide bearing (and a wood screw clamp) I routed the edges. Then some sanding and staining.

From the original angle, it looked like the arch went all the way through. Now I see they are non through finger pulls... Very slick setup!
