Got AC in the winter and Heat in the summer!! Don't think that is what you meant.

Got a propane heater I use in the winter, but I didn't check heating figured you meant more permanent heating. Closet thing I have to AC is opening the garage door and hoping the wind is coming from the true west (anything else and it gets blocked). Sometimes I grab a box fan and turn it on. Normally I wait for the nights to get cooler.

I check marked couch, but really it's a old set of lawn furniture from the other house, basically a love seat and two chairs with cushions.

I was just thinking about that today, it's really bad having both the furniture and a TV with satelite down there, I find myself watching more TV than working, especially if Dirty Jobs is on.

Durn, forgot to include computer in the list... why the heck did i put valet parking-because I had one extra space what should have gone to computer?

Yeah Ric, I would say AC is anything that is designed to make the air in the shop colder than the air outside.
And a heater is anything that is designed to make the shop air warmer than the air outside. So a propane heater counts, permanence aside, its more than I have...

          you left out a few amenities that my shop has;
          clothes washer and drier
          water heater
          dirt bike
          3 bicycles
electric garage....oops.. I mean shop door opener
          dog food container
          cabinets full of household junk.

I don't have AC in my shop or house, I don't ever need it. I do have a small electric heater that takes the chill off of those frigid 45* winter days ;>)

Wind blowing would only effect the heat index, Oh I guess down there that does mater a lot.

Being in Texas I can see why you don't have a heater. What, you would need it to take the chill out of the air when it gets down to 50F degrees all 3 days a year!!

I can't believe you didn't put coffee pot down! I don't have one but I do have a coffee cup warmer and a 3 cup mug!

Also a safety/medicine cabinet box! I have that and use it too!

Well, lessee. Coffee pot for sure. I guess a 115lb German Shepherd counts as an alarm (instant justice). All kinds of fans. And for those with shops away from home, or detached a distance from the house, a change of clothes. DAMHIKT.

I've got a garbage can that's pretty convenient, a bike rack, and even eee-lectricity!

                  Lets see...

Window A/C for the HHH days.

                  Pellet stove for the winter.

A radio is required backround noise.

Cordless phone for emergency or BS use.

My extra beverage refrigerator is still in the house, I should move it out there.

I thought about safety first aid kit and fire extinguisher later...
But I forgot about coffee... I don't drink the stuff myself! That's why.

wow, 22.5% have Fridges. I guess that's the next poll - what's in your shop fridge...
That's more than have plumbing, LOL.
You only have 5 steps to get your beer but 50 steps to get rid of it!

87% have radios or stereos... that's not surprising considering some of the musc discussions here.

Wow - 47% have A/C... I'm definately on the poor side of the tracks here in Houston, then...

Fridge #3 at our house could have been deployed in the shop, but we chose to put it in the garage instead which was wise in hindsight. We frequently grab a cold water when working outdoors, or hand one to someone who is over at our place and needs a refreshing drink. Not tracking through the house to get it is a win.

Fridge #4 went to my office and sits under my desk.

Fridge #5...now that would just be excessive.

Hmmmmm..... How about None of the Above? I feel deprived

I do have electricity, if a long extension cord counts. And I'll have a second floor eventually.

                            Evidently I need a fridge....

                            g.

                            Just remembered, I have a first-aid kit...
