Just curious, do drill bits work clockwise or counter clockwise there?

Rod, I am am sure its something "duh" obvious but what are the small slots perpedicular to the T slot tracks in the table?

They were made to fit hold-downs before I put the t-slot tracks in. Originally, the fence was held with clamps at each edge.

BTW I've never had a need for hold-downs on the DP table

                Rod,

Nice use of space under the DP table. I recently built the DP table as shown in SN #94. I was thinking of a way to mount additional storage space to the DP while still allowing it to be mobile (on a HTC mobile base).

What type of things do you store in the lower cabinet as it can't be drill bits as they areprominately displayed in the table and wall unit?

Let's see, reversible motors and left handed drill bits.......

I put a reversing switch on my drill press (reverses the field winding) when I had to tap a bunch of holes in a flywheel for my '61 Corvair. Made backing the tap out a lot faster.

I have noticed that drilling holes takes a lot longer than it used to.
You might think I haven't contributed much to the world, but a large number
of the warning labels on tools can be traced back to things I've done...
