I recently replaced my old grinder – didn’t use it much anyway.
This one appealed because of the belt on the right side, but…
I didn’t like the dinky tool rest they provided, so I bought one and then had to work out how to set it up. Time was spent 80% planning/measuring, 20% making. Attachment had to be around the brackets hold the whole thing up.
The whole setup is a retrofit – my original grinder was smaller than this one. I had nowhere else to put it and I didn’t want to rebuild the base it sits on.
As well as the stand for the tool rest, I made up a square “elbow” for DC – works fine.
Nothing exciting, but may give you some ideas…
