Just standard Shop Vac bags for the size of my vacuum. I guess the drywall bags might catch a little better, but I use the filter inside the vac as the "last line" for the dust that gets through the bag.

Yep. Here's the link to it on Woodcraft's site. Gives a picture.

I didn't think it would work myself, being a 5 gal container is so small figured everything would get sucked into the vac, but it didn't. Surprisingly enough there was very little fine dust that made it back to the vac. At the time I was cutting lots of MDF.

I am now using the 30 gal on my DC and it works great.

Are you sure the HF one is the same? Photo doesn't show the elbow that the Woodcraft one has.

So it sounds like the filter for the Craftsman "Red Stripe" vacuums works on a Ridgid?

$8.00 is a great deal...these things go for around $30.00. Too bad my closest Sears is not quite close enough

I couldn't tell you for sure. I haven't seen the HF one, only on the internet.

Did your 5-gallon lid from Woodcraft have the elbow udner the lid on the infeed (saw) lid? I was wondering if they only put it on the 30-gallon trash can size.

                Thanks,
                Dave

My 5 gallon lid had the elbow.
