Sillygoose and her mate put together a really good one a while back and posted here, maybe you can find it in the archives.

There was one in a recent Wood or HandyMan magazine within the last 6 months.

Here's mine - the plan is in "The Complete Book of Woodworking" available on the book rack at the BORG.

Ken-Thats the one sillygoose built, IIRC. I liked it so much I bought the book too, waiting to build until after I retire to Tennessee this fall.

I love that book. I think I've read/skimmed through it 20 times already... now if I only had the time, money, and space to do it all...

Sorry to dredge up an ancient thread but the rack you have made looks like just what I need. Can you possibly tell me the author's name of "The Complete Book of Woodworking"? My BORG doesn't have it and I find several titles by that (or very similar) name at amazon.

                Thanks much.

Ken, what is "Borg" ? Is it a big box store like Home depot or Lowe's ? If it is we don't have any of them here in
                  Charlotte area. eezlock

It's published by Landauer Corporation, ISBN 1-890621-35-8 hardcover,
1-890621-36-6 softcover. I think I found mine on ebay, a lot less expensive than Amazon.com.

                            Ken,

I am probably going to finally build mine this weekend. I like the design of your but wonder if you run out of sheet goods space? How many sheets of 3/4" ply can you fit?

I have a friend with one that takes ply on both sides but then no room for cutoffs.

It looks like you could make it hold quite a few sheets by expanding the bottom a bit and maybe adding a chain loop. for me 4 or 5 sheets would be plenty, most of what I keep is cut-offs and 2x and 4x lumber.
