    new garage door

    Got sick of my old worn out over head door. So I installed something different. My shop is only 12x22 so i need all the room i can get. Heres my old door.

      ok guys here it is! I installed french doors. That gives me plenty of light plus I can open both doors to get around a 6 foot opening. The one I bought has blinds built between the glass so I can have privacy too!

        Looks good, just make sure anything you build will fit thru the new doors!

            Sharp! Nice retrofit - gained a bit of wall space and still have good accessibility.

                thanks for the replies guys! I'll send a picture when I get all the siding back on.
                Ya winters here in Maine are cold so this door is going to keep me a lot warmer this winter! (the old door had big gaps all around it and falling apart.)

                      I did the same thing on an 11 by 25 shop, built two insulated luan doors, solid with foam cores. I love those doors on your shop, if it was not a cane prone area I would have liked the extra light. You will enjoy working out the doors in good weather. Great job.
