- Actually 5400mm x 7600mm (All plan measurements in Oz are specified in mm's not meters)

Yup - IBMer for SE for 5 years, 2 on assignment in the US (a gazillion years ago). But IBM midrange machines sure paid for all you see!

EDIT: Books! Of course! I have some of that same Time-Life series (at least, that's who publishes them here in the US) on the right end, with the green-black-khaki spines. Should have recognized them.

It's me that's honored - The day in Houston with you, Loring, Jim and Don, was one of the best.

BTW - The "Rod's Shed" sign, also above the bench was made and sent to me by Randy ("Rainshadow") - a LONG time ago - thanks Randy.

AWSOME. Its cleaner than a hospital? You sure make 450 sq ft look HUGE. Maybe I can get more room out of the garage if I clean it. To much other junk competing with my space too. Gotta talk the wife into letting me put the deepfreeze in the house somewhere.

For the record:

All [cleaned] machines are kept covered, unless in use, (BT3000 is never covered - always in use). The covers were removed for the pics.

Dang, a museum quality shop. You should stop calling that shop a shed, it don't quite fit. Outstanding shop and photography. Someday you will have to share your secret on how to clean a shed, er shop so we newbies don't go crazy.

Wow. That's a fantastic setup. I love how everything has a place, and is easy to find and access.

But, you've revealed the secret of your dust-free shop. I see the R2 droid cleaning up behind the BT3000! Putting the droid in a shopvac disguise is clever, but I still recognize it. Now, two questions: where can I buy one, and does it do windows?
