As folks know I got myself a Wahuda 10" Bench top jointer (Fantastic machine BTW) which unfortunately is as expected, too wide for my existing flip top stand.
I don't have time enough to make a new stand, so a quick and dirty approach to getting this thing to where I can use it and roll it out of my way when needed is in order.
A friend gave me a set of these telescoping bolt on table legs with casters, which will need to be changed out for locking casters, but the price was right, and they simply need to bolt down to a flat piece of wood to make a bench...
So that is exactly what I am going to do. Make myself a bench for the jointer out of these legs, and come glued up 2x4 lamination so I have a good sturdy bench top...
So stand by for the hurricane to pass and then I can get to the quickie build, and then one more step toward fully functional shop...
Somehow when I took the bed in the master suite apart for the remodel in that room, the rail hardware got removed and consequently lost. I have the hardware to replace it, and will do so shortly. The bed has a "Sealy Right Touch" which was Sealy's short lived attempt at competing with Select Comfort in air adjustable mattresses. The air bladder spring a leak before Debi had passed and we were remodeling anyway so a replacement bladder was put on pause... Well I found a sale on parts from Select Comfort and verified the connections and the dimensions and their air bladders will work.
So I will be reassembling the master suite shortly.
Why the rush to get back into a big master suite for only one person you might ask... My brother is planning on visiting this fall with my neice and nephews. I need space for them...
