Moving on after the DC upgrade. On to the linen closet shelves!

Okay probably a stupid thing to write a post about, but while we are doing the home remodelling, y wife has given me a motto to work by. At least one thing drying per day.

The widened shelves were too wide, no shock, and I ended up with one glue up the glue line just wasn't right and ended up giving me about a 7 degree bend at the joint. Not having that. Ripped the panels to the needed 17", ripped clean the opposing painted edges of the cutoff, ripped out the bad glue up, and then paired up the cutoffs and glued it up again. No need for biscuits this time (YAY!) as everything lined up 100% spot on. HOWEVER.

I have 5 shelves in the closet, and I have enough cutoffs to finish 4.

Need to go to Home Depot and get another 1x8 6 footer. I don't want to.

I am pretty disgusted by what was available. May have to go to a different Home Depot. The one in Kemah, I piced the best piece and it was still barely workable, even for a closet shelf...

    Anyway, I digress.

DId I mention I made a LOT of cuts without the dust collection hooked up?

The bottom bend / belly pan of my saw is a disaster!
