I have a project I am working on that requires some odd supplies... Specifically 1/8" alder, or at least alder compatible dowel stock, and an obscure paint. Notably 1959 Oldsmobile "Burgundy Mist Metallic"... HOWEVER, I need the paint in a modern poly formulation instead of the 1950s lacquer...
Can anyone point me to sources for these supplies?
I am doing a customization project on a cheap bass guitar, and I managed to foul the finish on the back, and I would like to color match the head stock to the body...
The instrument in question, with the first addition shown...

It's a 2015 Squier by Fender Affinity Series Jazz Bass, my upgrades are in progress, and they are...
The replacement head stock decal is shown. I forgot to add the Affinity Series logo. I am trying to make it obvious this is a Squier, not a USA Fender, I don't want anyone thinking I am trying to rip a potential buyer down the road off... Might have to order an Affinity Series decal to keep it right... I did upgrade from the original "J Bass" decal to a more proper "Jazz Bass" decal, but that's about it...
