    Source for 'antique' drawer pulls???

I had a friend, who knows I do some woodworking, asked me if I could make a drawer pull that came off of some antique furniture that belonged to her grandfather. She indicated that it wasn't expensive furniture either. It is about 1 7/8" dia and 1" thick. It has some simple circles, like grooves, on the front. It is possible I could possibly hack something like that on the lathe. At least, it would be a challenge.

Anyhow, does anyone know of any place that has wooden drawer pulls that could come close to matching?

    Thanks

If it is two circles, one large and a smaller one within it, this is a very common design that should be widely available. I can't give you specifics, but I've seen this design in many places over the years.

Depending on what is meant by 'old' and 'antique' Horton Brasses may have something for you.

On the other hand, I have an old finish-yourself dresser in the garage that has pulls that sound like what you need. If your pic looks like my pulls I'll send you some. At vintage 1975 I hate to call the thing old

Here are the pictures of knob that she is trying to find. Or something fairly close to it. I have forwarded her the links that were previously posted and let her do the searching. The knob is approximately 1 7/8" dia.

                  Again, thanks for the help.

My dresser was way cheaper than the one that knob came off of, and my knobs look it too. So while I would still like to take the knobs off of the old dresser and send them to you, (one can't just toss things like that away) and put some new ones on the dresser I expect that they would be of less use to you than they are to me at present.

                    good luck looking
