Learning from others a long time ago, that the cheap, plywood blades, only seem to hold up in paneling (and then barely). I would recommend spending the $15 on a Freud Diablo 40 tooth blade at the borg. It isn't that much thicker of a cut, and it will deal with pitch buildup better.
Now flexing (to the point the blade spins the nut loose) should better be handled with proper material support. (google panel cutting table for plans better then I could describe right now).
