Man I wish I had some pics to show. The screens are rectangle in shape, each screen is divided horizontally into 3 panels and one of those panels is divided into 21 rectangles. This is where she will put the japanese paper behind it. So I wanted to keep the most intricate part as maintenance free as i could so she wouldn't mar her paper. I think the frame will be easy to take care of, easily waxed, its just the bottom portion that will be high maintenance and hard to take care of. I'll keep looking for an acceptable solution before the hinges arrive.
