    Cheap carriage bolt hardware online

So, I'm building a yurt, and my plans call for fastening the lattice structure together with carriage bolts washers and nuts.

I need a lot of them. Like 300 or so.

Any suggestions for a good source on line to get a good price? I need need Class-A quality, just a good price.

    Thanks
    Jim

Length? Diameter? As I recall your slats will be 3/8" thick, but I don't know how many of them will stack at each bolted connection.

McMaster-Carr has 1/4"-20 carriage bolts in the 1" to 2" range for roughly $3 to $5 per hundred. Assuming that size range is in the ball park, I'm guessing that'll be hard to beat.

Depending in the type/finish on the bolts, you might try this site, this page is for zinc plated.

Or, check out these guys, they are in my neck-o-woods, and have pretty good prices.

i think if you google nuts bolts you will find many suppliers of hardware and you can see pricing on-line.

But, I imagine shipping whould eat up lots of the savings. You might just compare to Lowes or HD in the 100 packs, might be cheaper after shipping and all.

Find a Fastenal store in your area, they usually have good prices and good quantities on fasteners.
