Using all-thread to spread glue

Now, that might have been solved with a little reasoning with her... "Honey, what's the problem, they didn't cut straight before, and they don't cut straight now so nothing's really changed has it?"
Now back on topic, I have a $0.49 or so cheap plastic 12" ruler with a piece of steel epoxies to the back that works well for large surfaces (I did several when building work benches). With the double angle it's easy to hold while keeping a sharp angle to the work surface and the little raised marks for the measurement allow me to push down hard and still allow a very consistent amount of glue through (which appears to self level, but I haven't done any real delicate work with this)
