    Mortising stool

Does anyone have photos of a "mortising stool" or links to what one looks like? I saw one mentioned at a website called Bob's Woodworking Shop (Nice job, Bob if you are on here!) Here is a link to what was on Bob's site...http://web.archive.org/web/200412142.../sawhorses.htm

So are these used so you can can pound the mortises through by hand? Sure seem fun.

Reminds me of the "stools" in the Business class "lounge" at the Hong Kong airport - they went nicely with the granite floors

I dunno Loring - I kinda like the idea and I can see where it would come in handy.

I don't think it would be that uncomfortable. Photo from the website.
