tapered small legs for my amplifier project

I am building a case for a small audio amplifier.

I am trying to duplicate the project attached picture. Where can I get legs that are similar? I need about 3" tall size with "metallic" look.

    thanks,

Those "feet" to me look like wine bottle stoppers. Could be wrong too

being an Electrical engineer and a music lover and therefore a HiFi -stereo enthusiast I'm assuming those are spikes designed to couple the amplifier to the mass of the cabinet. somewhat like the speaker spikes they sometimes furnish to couple the speaker cabinets to the floor. I've seen the principle discussed before.

My personal opinion on the electronics coupling to the cabinet is that its a bunch of snake oil. But each to his own. If you did want to couple the amplifier to the stand you would do a lot better just bolting the electronics box to the cabinet.... Or maybe using some Quick Grip clamps.

If anything I'd consider isolating the electronics from vibrations of the stand and airborne vibrations... that would consist of decoupling rather than coupling. But modern electronics are very low microphonics so I doubt it would help in any detectable way.

But don't let my opinions stop you. If you wanted a pointed spike with some mass to dig into your cabinet you might consider buying three plumb bobs like this:
        http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-47-973...1100551&sr=8-4
they're only $5.50 each, they're an attractive brass finish, you can tap and tap some holes in the top for attachment, and they have a pointed end. You'd need three. These are heavy at 8 oz, they also have 4 oz that's smaller and a tad cheaper.

Here some more for $2 each

I totally agree. I have stoppers that look exactly like that, with a decorative piece on the top. You could get a few of these turning kits from PSI, and just use the stopper part as feet.
