What Would You Do With This?

And, for fun, what do you see in it?

Bookmatched the pieces are around 10 by 13 inches. Each is around 5 by 13.

Due to the size I'm having trouble deciding what to do with it.
It is Maple with spalting? that I haven't seen in Maple before.
    TIA

Dammit Jeffrey! Made me spit on the dog!
I'm kinda dirty minded for sure, but I didn't see that.
      Thanks for a good-un.

Well I must be just as dirty minded cause I saw the same thing. I also see a pair of feet so I guess I am not hopeless.

It is refreshing to see that part of the female anatomy. Normally its another part of the female anatomy that pops out on book matched figured wood. Didn't someone do cabinets in a Gynecologists office that really fit the setting?

              Ken,

Here's what I'd do with it.

Unfortunately, it's easier in Photoshop, than in real life. But it was fun doing it.

Actually - all I saw was "eyes" - but then again, I've almost forgotten...

Oh yeah, as to what to do with it, I dunno. Mebbe make a small end table? Or use the pieces as panels in doors for a small display case?

Yeah, I was seeing eyes and a lighter nose in the bottom picture. Now I'm scarred for life. Or at least 2 minutes.

Gotta go with a table top or perhaps a door panel/inlay?

Me neither -- I must be getting old....

To me, it has the look of the eyes of an owl, picturing the upwardly-pointed rings as the "horns" of a great-horned owl, for instance.

Hey, I guess I'm seeing "hooters" after all! I'm gonna be OK!
