    Taper jig for thin cuts?

Has anyone here ever used a commercial taper jig set to zero degree taper to make repetitive thin cuts safely?

i don't see the point of that compared to using other jigs, unless its because the other jigs had to be made (none of them complex) vs.using the taper jig because you already had it.

      Take a look at this

      Paul,
Rod Kirby did something that you might want to take a look at, It's an idea that's "buried" in this presentation of his Miter Fence improvement.

It's a method of Ripping very accurate narrow strips from a larger piece of stock.

It's a Fairley simple proceedure, once you understand the principle.
