    Cutting Board Repair

We've got several nice kitchen cutting boards made of hard maple where the glue joints are separating. I'd like to disassemble the joints and glue them back up but knowing that modern glues make extremely strong joints, I'm not sure how to go about this.

As far as I can tell, the edges at the joint are nice and flat. Not sure if there are pegs or dowels for increased strength.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

Rip them on the TS. you'll lose the kerf width on each...
Or, rip them on a bandsaw and use a jointer to put a new edge. lose less wood due to smaller kerf.
But if they've really distorted from the glue joints swelling and splitting, are they flat enough?

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
