    Gorilla Glue Question

I'm gluing up the parts to my flower boxes this weekend. They're made out of the composite lumber scraps from my deck project. The Gorilla Glue directions say to apply a thin [they stressed it, not me] layer on one surface and wipe the other with a damp cloth.

So...how thin is thin? Can you quantify the amount somehow? I'd really like to minimize as much squeeze-out as possible, but being an exterior project... I'm also worried about getting the best bond possible. There are a few parts that won't have any mechanical fasteners.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Well, I can't give a measurement for 'thin', but just use an acid brush and apply a consistent coating. G Glue squeeze out foams up hard and scrapes off fairly easily, easier than yellow glue.

I would say thin means just enough to coat the surface. You don't want those PU glues to be squeezed out - cleanup mess.
