    Wanted: replacement motor for bt3000

I live in Richmond, VA and I'm looking for a replacement motor for my bt3000. Anyone with one available or useful links to where I might find one? I can be most easily reached at andrewleeheck(at)yahoo.com. Thanks much.

FWIW, have you looked into getting your original motor fixed?

          replacement motor for BT3000

A good place to start is E-bay. Type in BT3000 or BT3100 motor and usually you can find what's available. There is a seller on e bay, JCherryaI, that carries a lot of the needed parts for the saws, he is a good, reliable, dealer with reasonable prices on his stuff. I have bought from him in the past and I would recommend him.Hope this helps....eezlock

I have a 3100 motor if they interchange. No belts or switch but low hours if you want it. How does 50 bucks sound. I can send you pics if interested. I could sell the whole basic frame with switch tilt mechanism minus the throat plates and belts for 100 bucks . Just install belts and put your tables and rails on and off you go. Either deal plus shipping of course.

I haven't checked into the repair option much...I think I'll install a newer one and perhaps repair the old as a spare. I'm not optimistic about finding repair sources in the Richmond, VA area, but if anyone has leads I'm all ears!
