    Free BT3100 for parts

I have a BT3100 that I used for just over a year and had the motor blow up on me. The process of ripping it out was challenging and left it in a few too many pieces so I now have a saw that has been apart for 2 years and no way am I trying to put it back together.

I have all parts except for the bum motor with attached switch which is now gone. I have the dual slot miter attachment, set of extension rails (never put on), router attachment, wheels, blade guard, extra blank plates, blade, etc.. I would rather have someone from this forum benefit before I go on Craigslist to give it away.

I don't want to ship anything so local pickup only please. I am in Port Moody, BC which is the Vancouver BC region.

Hi there. I'm up in Powell River and will be down in the city this weekend or next. I would happily take it off your hands. Thx, Sean.

How did you know where he is located? I don't see it in his profile.

Guess I need to stay awake through the night to catch these deals :-)

              Sean57 -

If you don't need the rip fence or the miter table fence, I am searching for either of these used. I would be happy to make you an offer for them.

If you don't want to deal with shipping, I work for a trucking company and we deliver to BC quite often. I could probably have one of my trucks pick them up in the Vancouver area - although I would need to check with my Customs guy to make sure it wouldn't present any problems when returning to the US.

Oh, I just realized you are in Powell River - we don't go up there very often. I remember a few loads going up there last year that required two ferry trips each way.
