WTB: Zero clearance throat plates

I need some ZCTP, wondering if anybody has any spares they don't need, or where the best place to get them. I found the BT3000.com guy on eBay, but $20 for a pair seems kinda steep.

KLF, if you have some time you could make them yourself. I remember making about 3 of them years ago from some spare oak boards I had laying around. I have an extra (unused) set (pair of ZCTP and screws). Let me know if you are still looking for one. I agree, $20 is too much!! I believe I paid $10 for mine.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to make some, they are pretty simple. I have a huge box of leftover solid maple flooring in storage, so I'm making a few out of that. Very dense wood, and already finished on top!

Well, I checked with Canada Post today and It costs $8.90 for air mail ($7.50 for ground) to ship the two ZCTP. Even if I take $8, it still becomes $16.90 (not much better than ebay and too much IMHO).

The only other option, if you are still interested, is to mail them from US (I plan a trip to Milwaukee in about 2 months). I believe the shipping cost is only $4.90 (domestic vs international) but by that time you probably have made several of them yourself .

Well, I appreciate the offers, but I'll let someone else buy them. I spent a LOT of time this weekend making 6 of them out of 3/4" solid maple, so I think I'm all set. Got to spend some quality time with my new Freud dado set.
