    Full set of silver rails

My plans for a mobile base have been put on hold, so I have a full set of silver rails with mounting hardware that I'm offering up to the BT3 community. I'm asking $40 plus shipping from 35023. Please shoot me a PM or email me at dewi1219@aol.com if interested. Thanks.

I know the economy is bad, but I didn't think it would be this difficult to unload a full set of rails Am I asking too much?

$30 to $40 is pretty much the going rate.

I'd take 'em but I've already got 2 extras in the lumber rack... plus the black ones & another set of 48" 21829 rails.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't out of line. I guess I could always put them on ebay, but I was hoping I had sold my last item there

Hello, I recently grabbed that BT-3100 in Atl about a month ago. The motors toast and the rest is so-so. Anyways to my curiosity has anyone ever used these rails bolted to a Bandsaw? As some may remember I snagged 1 of those Delta 28-276 for $150 awhile back and I,m thinking I can bolt these to the 16 inch table and cut down the fence. Any feedback would be app., Tommy

Doesn't make any sense to me. the rails require a exact front-back spacing for the rip fence rear clamp to work. With out the rear clamp feature it not that great a fence.
The rails are custom and you won't find any fence that fits it.

Yea, only the ryobi fence works with the rail extrusion.

Allthough, a ryobi fence might be cut to fit a narrower width between the front and back rails. Seems like a lot of work though, especially getting the rod inside set right.

Well it is the fence and rails off a BT-3100. I really don,t see the issue with cutting down the fence. A proper measurement and a cut with a chopsaw should do the trick. I already took apart the fence. Does not look too complicated. Getting thre proper measurement will be the task at hand. I,ll let you know. My other option is to cut down an old Delta 36-600 Fence and rails. Less complicated as far as the castings but seems to be the same requirement just a proper measure and cut. However I like the Aluminum and the feel of the BT-3100 rail and fence. Hey , It did not cost me but a 30 min RT drive so whats to loose. I,ll take pics but may be a while, Going under the knife again soon may wait till after, Cya.ll

OK, looks like you're starting to get it worked out. Might take a look at the fixture blocks over at t-nuts.com. http://t-nuts.com/product_info.php?c...16273575971153 I think they work with the inside slots of the rails. Possibly something to use to attach the rails to the table.

Hey Thanks for that info. I had thought about using the stock mounting tabs and just drill out the 2 sides of the Bandsaw table and use the same bolts that Ryobi uses. But the ones you sent me too look much heavier and stronger than those. Thanks
