Hard Maple $2.50 less than 100 bd ft, larger quantities can be negotiated.

Ash: $2.00 less than 100 bd ft, larger quantities can be negotiated.

other species available just haven't sorted it out yet

My problem is getting it from there to here will cost more than the wood. If there is a different transportation option I would be interested.

shipping costs on lumber always seem to be prohibitive.
100 bd feet of maple for $250 is a good deal. However that's about 8.33 cu feet and maple probably weighs 50-60 lbs per cu ft so we're talking 400+ pounds and that's just raw wood, not packaged for shipping or allowing for extra long/oversize items.

shipping 50 bf via fed ex would be 50-90dollars depending on weight to philly.

I'm in penn often, but thats up near erie If enough guys got together to make it worth my while we could make it a lumber run.
