For sale: HF bandsaw upgrade kit

For anyone who has a HF bandsaw, this is your chance to upgrade for cheap.
I'm upgrading myself, to a bigger saw, so won't need the extra capacity.

Kit includes:

-HF 6" riser kit--the real deal with matching paint. Comes with all the trimmings.
-HF roller bearing guide kit. They work great.
-105" blades, unused--1/2" x 3t hook Lenox flexback (2)
1/4" Lenox (1)
5/8" Bladerunner resaw blade
-Iturra heavy duty spring. A must if you want to resaw.
-Asst other 105" blades

Total $100 + shipping

I also have a US built 1.5hp bandsaw motor which is 220v. If you're interested in that, PM me and we can talk price. It will make your saw purr.

I'm in Silverdale, over on the Kitsap Penninsula. If you feel like a ferry ride, you can catch the Edmonds ferry. That makes it a fairly quick trip. I was thinking $75 for the motor. It's a good one, 1750 rpm, reversible.

I would have snatched it by now, but I already did those mods except for the Iturra Spring.... Speinding $100.00 to get a $30.00 spring doesn't make sense to me...

Yeah, you pretty much would have to have an unmodified HF saw. Not a bad deal if you do though. I think I waited nearly a year to get that riser kit from HF.

Yeah, I knew what I wanted when I bought the saw. I wasn't sure HF offered a riser block kit anymore, but found the item # in an old thread here, and called... My blades were Timberwolf by choice, and I am pretty happy with them... Even with the low tension blades, the stock spring is a bit wimpy. I knew this would come about... When I do the Grizz tension lever mod I am going to upgrade the spring too...
