BT3100 Parting Out
So there I was this weekend, happily sawing away, when my BT3100 made this chilling death rattle and stopped. The autopsy revealed 4 missing segments on the armature, along with the accompanying multiple compound fractures of the brushes. Sooo, I decided to go on to a Grizzly, for better or worse, although we know it is hard to beat the 3100. Anyway, I'm parting mine out. It is about 5 years old. Except for the motor, it is in "good" condition as opposed to "excellent". This is NOT a like new machine, it was a running, in use machine right up to the fatal embolism. Some parts may, (or may not), have a little stain or paint over spray, it shows that wood has been slid over the surface. However, as I said, it was an in use machine, so nothing impedes use of any of the parts, they just cosmetically don't look like they just came out of the box so I think I have them priced accordingly.
