    $500 Cabelas for $400

Recieved a $500 gift certificate for Cabelas from work. This is my fourth one and I haven't spent the last one. I don't hunt or live where it snows while having to buy everything on-line. May be willing to barter for tools. Very much prefer dealing with someone in Central/West Florida so we can meet and you can verify my certificate.

The right place, the wrong time!

Hope you find some one. I'll check with a couple of my neighbors. One way or the other I'll let you know what they say.

Argh. Wrong place AND wrong time for me. I have a Cabela's not 10 minutes from my house.

Bump up for any other interest. I was hoping to parlay the $500 into tools, I'm definitely not going to try to sell this on Craiglist and deal with the freak show.

Got another Cabla's certificate last week (April 16, 2009), still haven't spent all of the last one. Willing to sell this $500 certificate for $400 or barter it for something I can use.

Ok, I have to ask. Where do you work where they seem to hand out $500 Cabela's gift cards like candy?

It's a large construction company. I get $500 Cabelas every 6 months if my Lost Cost Per Hour (cost of any injuries or accidents divided by man hours worked) is less than 5 cents. My crews get $100 every quarter so they're very motivated as well. The Company acts on SAFETY being a financial Win-Win.
Unfortunatley, I don't hunt, fish, or camp. I have enough jackets to last a lifetime here in Florida and if I sell the Gift Card online, I get $350 cash. Bartering for tools just seems like a better deal and potentially more fun.

Have you ever asked them about other cards?
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Being that the cost would be the same, they should be willing to give comparable awards that are more useful to the recipient. Good luck.
