21829 for sale - Brevard, FL

Bought brand new 6 months ago and used for one project. You can't tell this from brand new. Everything included plus I've purchased the dust collection bag. Price is $300.

Where is Brevard, FL? It doesn't come up in Mapquest.

Brevard is a county, not a city. Cities therein include Cocoa, Melbourne, etc.

Too bad you aren't in Galveston County, TX. I'd go get it now...

If you wind up parting it out, I'd be interested in the accessory table and fence. My parents live in Melbourne, FL.

I won't be parting it out. Maybe you could by it, take the parts you need, and then part out what's left.

Just a quick note about interchangeability of the parts - the 21829 does not have the ridges, so the tables lie a bit lower than on the BT3s. The 21829 accessory table is a fair bit wider also.

I have a BT3 accessory table that I use on my 21829. I keep a router base mounted to it. I also used a broken BT3 SMT base to make a removable miter table. So, they can still be useful interchanges, you just have to know that they aren't an exact match.

I'd like to get ticklechicken's 21829 since I'd prefer the longer rails, but I'd have to get my parents to pick it up and hold it for me until either they visit me or I visit them. Besides, my dad's 76 and has recently had surgery so he won't be able to lift it in and out of his van. The logisitics and economics don't work out for me. Anyone else live in central FL that needs one?
                - Chris.

docrowan - I'm also in Melbourne and would gladly deliver the saw to your parent's house/garage/van, whatever works for you.

How much longer are the 21829's rails than a standard BT3K rails?

Roughly 48 versus 42. I don't remember the exact numbers.

That's really close. I didn't measure mine, but it's really close to 6".
