    WTB - Micro Positioner

I am looking for a deal on a new/used micro-positioner. If anyone has one they would like to part with, please PM me. Thanks.

I picked this up a few months ago. You will most likely have to ship it as I don't think it is stocked locally.

If you order it from Sears, have it shipped to the store for pickup. That will save you the shipping cost.

        HOW?

If it isn't available via the store for pickup, it has only let me order items to be delivered. Really dumb since I drive close to my Sears on the way to work and home.

I assume you have one of these, so can you tell me if it will work with a Beisemeyer fence system? Is it magnitic or what?

          Thanks

Seems to me I stopped at the store and they ordered it for store pick up. Maybe their procedures have changed.

It fits inside the top of the BT3 rail and slides along it so I doubt it would work with the Beisemeyer fence.

This irked me recently, when I wanted to order a bandsaw for store pickup at a sale price. The online ordering system said not available at any of my local stores, and they wanted $65 to deliver.

I ended up just driving to the store, where they indeed had it in stock. I paid and took it home with me.

Seems to me somebody here (Rod Kirby, meybe?) made his own using plywood and bolts. Anyone know where the thread is hiding? I couldn't find it.

The luck I have with building jigs like this is that by the time I am done messing around with it, I have paid more than the part I have tried to avoid paying for.

The sears part is on sale for $23 now so I just ordered that. Thanks.

When you put your zip code in on the right hand side of Sear's webpage, you should see this:
                          Ship
                          or
                          Pick Up ?

                          Ship
                          Pick Up

                          Check Availability
                          Shipping Calculator
Choose the correct option and order away.
BTW, if you order from a store kiosk (this weekend? maybe just today?) you get free shipping even if it comes to your house. I bought the Freud stacked dado set, on sale for $87, and got free shipping.

                            Link to Sears micro-positioner?

Would be very much appreciated. I didn't know the part was even available. Tried a quick search on the site and came up empty. At work -- Saturday evening, I know -- and don't have time for lengthy search. Your help is MUCH APPRECIATED!

                            Thanks,
                            Andy
