BT3100 for sale for $250. We're located in Santa Rosa, CA. Please let me know if you're interested.
Brand new - still in box! We bought it a few years ago and never ended up needing it. Now we don't have room for it.
    Thanks!

Update - sold last night to a local buyer. Thanks all for your interest & assistance re:shipping!

The first quote I've received is over $300 (from freightquote.com). If you know of a good/cheaper way to ship, I'm open! Thanks for your interest... I'll keep working on it!
ETA: Found a quote for $210. Is this as unreasonable as I think it is???

Try FedEX ground. I shipped a BT3100 from Austin TX to Florida for about $80.00. Of course that was 1-1/2 years ago. Go to the FedEX website for a quick calculation.

jemmy as far as I know ireland run electricity at 220 volts and 50 hz

hz is the frequency of the motor in america motors run a 60 hz trying to run an american bt3100 in ireland would require a converter for the proper voltage which unfortunately does not change the frequency. Since these two frequencies are different the bt motor would most likely run slower and would slowly burn out over time. That would make this investment entirely non cost effective

sorry for bad news but you may be better off finding a local saw

actually the BT3100 with a universal motor will run quite fine at 50 or 60 Hz, no change in operation (RPMs etc) unlike saws with induction motors which are line frequency dependent.
That's why they call it a universal motor. Of course the other problems remain (shipping and voltage), so I guess this is just a tidbit.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

the reason was it`s U.S.A. Model i wanted one and i have a 110 transformer ??? but it`s gone now.
