Looking for wide Table Rails and Router Kit

I just got my BT 3000 used for about 250 Canadian, not bad. Anyway, I would like to set up the saw with the wide table kit, flotation table, outfeed table and router kit if possible. The whole shooting match.

There's a guy on Ebay "Just Ryobi Parts" that has the stuff, but it's not exactly cheap. So, anyone want to pass on some parts? Let me know.

The place called M&D Mower on the Internet is known to sell Ryobi parts. The place is reliable. Most people here would say that wide table kit is a good idea, other kits are not worth the dough. Out of router kit a couple of minor parts are usefull and you can make them easily yourself, etc.

I am also looking for the router kit very soon. Which parts do you think are worthwhile copying from the kit? I have experience and tools for metal/plastics as well as wood. I like the tube for collecting sawdust and guarding the bit. The fence looks a little odd.

How do you get around those snap-in rings? It would take some serious time to get those right I think.

The p/n for the ring set is in the BT3 FAQ; order from M&D as well. Once you have them, the rest of the good stuff in the router mtg kit you can make as good as or better. You can get fence parts and dust collection tubes from Rockler and other places.

The wide table kit with the rails is hard to duplicate. You can build the legs and the outfeed table. The air flotation table has not been a real popular item, you can read about it in the FAQ, too.

Router mounting plate can be made of plywood or plastic. Safety bracket is important (The one that secures the router to back rail). Fence is junk - you can make better. Bit guard/dust collector hook-up is part of fence. Make that fence mountable to rails independently from rip fence - my advice.

I just ordered the wide table kit on Tuesday and it was at my house in Nova Scotia on Friday. It is pricy though, the wide table kit was almost as much as you paid for your saw once delivery and taxes were added, but I wated it.
