    Wanted: Rip Fence for bt3000. . .

. . . which should be the same one as the 3100. Looking for a decent price. My dad and I both have these saws but his fence broke (seems to be a common problem). Thanks. . . David

the BT3000 and BT3100 rip fences look different but they work on either rail - interchangeable.

If you dropped it and broke some of the plastic pieces on the back end, they can be reaplaced fairly cheaply - you aren't the first to have dropped it.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

there's a whol section on odering parts including addresses, phone no and web sites in my BT3 FAQ. look in the first post under "Getting Started" for a link to the FAQ.

Most people indicate M&D mower is the most reliable.
