    8' Power Twist V-Link Belt

I bought 8’ from Rockler a while back and used it to prototype a screw driven TV lift. I ended up changing my design, and I don't have any tools that use V belts. They’ve been used for maybe 10 minutes and I gotta start paying for all the bargains I find here.

Looks like 4' lengths go for $24ish. I'd take $40 for all 8' w/free shipping. Or feel free to make an offer.

    Thanks.

BTW, when I first joined this site I posted links to my ebay auctions. I apologize for that breach of etiquette. I don't have much good stuff but it'll go here first.

Do these vary in size? I'm thinking about putting V-Belts on my drill press and jointer. How do I tell if these are the correct size?

They are adjustable in 1/2" increments, which made them perfect for trying different pulley positions in my case. The links connect to each other with a Double Piggyback Twist Lock mechanism (I made that up). These pics will give you a better idea.

I'll sell in shorter lengths too. Just make an offer. Thanks.

I understand about how the belts work as far as length, I just didn't know if there was a standard size for width. If these will fit my jointer and drill press, I'm interested in the full 8'.

This size fits 1/2" pulleys. The links are about 1/2" wide on the outside edge and about 0.4" to the bottom of the V. If it doesn't fit I'll gladly take it back.

when i was researching this a while ago most WW equipment for home shop use took 1/2" V-belts and the 1/2" link belts were the recommended replacement.

The major exception is the BT3000/3100 of course which uses a custom belt.

Good. It looks like it will work. I'm interested in the full 8' if you haven't sold it already. $40 is fine.
